Travelling to the Event
Note: Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements.
If possible, please favour sustainable travel options that minimise environmental impact.

Arriving by train
From the Rennes Railway Station, you can:
- Take a taxi: approximately 10-15 minutes, costing around 10-15 €*
- Take an Uber: approximately 10-15 minutes, costing around 8-12 €*
- Take the metro: Line b (green line) towards 'Cesson Viasilva', get off at Jules Ferry (350 m from the IGR-IAE). Cross Rue Jean Guéhenno, walk straight ahead with the Faculty of Law and Political Science on your left, then turn left onto Rue Jean Macé: the IGR-IAE main entrance will be on your left.
- Take public transport (bus): approximately 20-30 minutes, around 2 €*
Note: Tickets for the metro and the bus can also be bought from machines at metro stops and at St Anne agency
Arriving by air
From Rennes Bretagne Airport (RNS), you can:
- Take a taxi: approximately 15-20 minutes, around 20-25 €*
- Take an Uber: approximately 15-20 minutes, around 15-20 €*
- Take public transport (bus): take Bus C6 to 'République', then transfer to metro Line b (green line) towards 'Cesson Viasilva'. Get off at Jules Ferry and follow the directions above to reach the IGR-IAE.
Note: This journey takes around 50 minutes and costs approximately 2 €*
From Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), you can:
- Take a train: take the RER B to 'Gare du Nord', then metro Line 4 (purple) or Line 6 (light green) to Montparnasse, and transfer to an SNCF high-speed train to Rennes. Direct high-speed trains from CDG to Rennes are also available. Upon arrival, follow the directions from Rennes railway station above. Total journey: approximately 3-3.5 hours, costing around 60-100 €* depending on booking time. We recommend this option to reduce your carbon footprint.
- Take a taxi: approximately 3.5-4 hours, around 280-350 €*. For sustainability, consider sharing the ride with 2-3 other participants.
- Take an Uber: approximately 3.5-4 hours, around 250-300 €*. Ride-sharing is encouraged to reduce environmental impact.
From Paris Orly Airport (ORY), you can:
- Take a train: take the Orlyval to 'Antony' or OrlyBus to 'Denfert-Rochereau', then RER B to Montparnasse. From there, take an SNCF high-speed train to Rennes. Alternatively, take metro Line 14 (violet) to 'Saint-Lazare', then Line 13 (light blue) to 'Montparnasse-Bienvenüe'. Upon arrival in Rennes, follow the directions from Rennes railway station above. Total journey: approximately 3-4 hours, costing around 60-100 €*. We recommend this option for a lower carbon footprint.
- Take a taxi: approximately 3.5 hours, around 250-300 €*. Ride-sharing is encouraged.
- Take an Uber: approximately 3.5 hours, around 220-270 €*. Ride-sharing is encouraged.
